Hello! My name is Sarah, thank-you for visiting my site. Here you'll find my portfolio of voice-over work and songs. I have lent my voice to projects all over the globe in TV spots and radio advertisement campaigns, jingles, online promotional work, website and social media content, internal educational videos, corporate training modules, IVR/on-hold messaging systems, podcast intros, meditation practices, and much more. I work remotely from my studio in the Kootenays and my audience is primarily Canadian and American. I specialize specifically in bringing very warm motherly tones, as well as the Millenial, GEN-X style reads to your written script. With a background in music and singing, I hold a Diploma in Vocal Performance under my belt as well as a decade of using my voice as an instrument professionally live and in the studio.
I am super passionate about my work and want you to be excited and happy about it too! One of my favourite parts of this line of work is getting to learn about YOUR PROJECT! There are so many cool, fun, and interesting things to learn about while using the human connection of speech to help connect us all!
Working together ensures you will receive:
- Speedy delivery! Your project is my priority.
- Directed session using Google Call or Source Connect, or I can self-direct.
- Edited voice tracks (no breaths, clicks, or artefacts)
- Files in WAV, MP3 (based on your specifications)
- Audio delivered via email, Google Drive, or WeTransfer.
- And a free round of revisions!
Please feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org for a free sample read of your script and to discuss rates. If you are unsure about how to budget your project I encourage you to check out the GVAA guide for non-union, industry standards rates. I look forward to creating with you.
Having grown up in a household with guitars and accordions constantly humming, it was almost inevitable that Sarah would be encouraged to learn an instrument. Eventually, the one she chose and dedicated years of study to perfect was her voice. Sarah’s exploration of sound begun through performances in and around her small rural community; later studying voice in post-secondary at the Selkirk College Contemporary Music & Technology program. She became the front-woman of a jazz-influenced indie rock group, where her voice and ambition carried them across the country and gave her strong foundational experiences in the music industry. She has trained with national talent coaches and continues her learning through workshops and classes. Today, Sarah commands broad and dynamic capacity in technicality, tone and texture, which she owes to years of voice recording and dedicated self-practice - which lends itself perfect to being a rockstar in the voice-over world!
