Let’s Sing!
The human body is a fascinating, complex, and often contradictory place. Some people believe they are born with singing capabilities, and others are not. However, I don’t believe this is true. Although I come from a long lineage of traditional choral singers which may have played a biological (and most certainly a spiritual role) in my musical pursuits- it did not mean my voice was simply handed to me. Singing is a process of the body and mind. Generally speaking, we are all born with the mechanisms to produce sound and learn speech, and with all learning comes steps and hurdles one must overcome. There are common issues singers come to me with, but each voice is unique and different and I hope that notion alone empowers you to explore your own. Through my experience gigging in a touring band, recording in studios for myself and other artists, I’ve learned that singing technique and vocal health are deeply intertwined and that motivation and hard work will always come out ahead.
Working together I like to establish short and long-term goals and provide you with a simple warm-up routine that’s tailored to achieving them.

I am also offering an introduction to voice-over lessons! Because everyone is always asking, and it’s just straight-up fun! We can work on reading and breaking down scripts in a variety of styles and discuss the steps, tips, and resources on how to break into the industry.
